A UK leading provider of essential electronic sensor instrumentation are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Test and Validation Engineer to join their thriving team in Coventry, West Midlands. You will be based on site in Coventry with hybrid home working available where possible. This role comes with career development opportunities to learn and develop your skills in numerous areas whilst challenging yourself in a critical technology business.
As an Electronic Test and Validation Engineer – EN Standards, you will undertake validation of all hardware related development. This will include generating test plans and reports, low level and functional testing and documentation.
What is required from you:
- Experience in low level and functional electronic test and validation.
- Experience with various EN Standards, such as EN 50291.
- Ability to generate test plans and failure reports.
- Exposure to test and measurement equipment as well as soldering stations.
- Exposure to EMC test chambers would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience with software scripting using C, Python, or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
