Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer – Cardiff
Are you an enthusiastic and skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic job opportunity for an Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer based in Cardiff. This hands-on job involves working on the installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping and motor equipment across Wales and Southwest England.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer job:
- Attend sites alongside mechanical engineers and carry out electrical works.
- Support after-sales and breakdown teams when needed.
- Complete site reports, timesheets, and ensure all work is carried out efficiently and safely.
- Manage materials, tools, and petty cash responsibly.
Requirements for Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer job:
- Experience in a similar electrical or maintenance role, ideally with motors or pumps.
- C&G Level 3 – inspection and testing of electrical installations.
- Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671).
This is a field-based job with occasional overnight stays, and you will be based in the Cardiff area. If you are motivated, have a strong “can do” attitude, and want to join a growing engineering team, this is the perfect opportunity.
