New Electronics Design / Embedded Software Engineer job available in Hitchin, Hertfordshire or Cambridge!
This company design and manufacture a range of fire detection technologies that are sold all over the UK. These products are used within the consumer electronics industry and due to growth, they are looking to add an Electronics Design / Embedded Software Engineer to become a key member of their development department.
If you have a passion for developing both hardware and software, love to understand how electronic devices work and enjoy developing your own Raspberry Pi projects then this would be the perfect role to develop you into a great engineer! There are lots of exciting ongoing projects and the development team is growing and this development engineer will be a key member of the team.
Key skills / experience required for the Electronics Design / Embedded Software Engineer job:
- An understanding of schematics, circuit layout, prototyping and bench testing
- Knowledge of Embedded C and experience developing on bare metal systems
- Analysing unusual behaviour of devices and reporting on findings
- Previous experience of working within and supporting an R&D team
- Experience working in an agile environment would be advantageous
The Electronics Design / Embedded Software Engineer will be able to work from either the Hitchin, Hertfordshire based site or from the Cambridge facility, with some remote working options available.
