A market leading organisation are looking to add an Electronics Engineer – R&D to join their growing R&D team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire or Cambridge.
This company design and manufacture a range of fire detection technologies that are sold all over the UK. These products are used within the consumer electronics industry and due to growth, they are looking to add an Electronics Engineer – R&D to become a key member of their development department.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Engineer – R&D job:
- Produce schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping and bench testing
- Produce engineering reports and operating manuals
- Support the hardware and software engineers as required
- Assist the engineering team by validating software, giving inputs to equipment design, wiring test kits and debugging electronics
- Conducting analyses on faulty products and reporting on findings
Key skills / experience required for the Electronics Engineer – R&D job:
- A good general understanding of electronics is essential
- Previous experience of working within and supporting an R&D team
- Experience working in an agile environment would be advantageous
The Electronics Engineer – R&D will be able to work from either the Hitchin, Hertfordshire based site or from the Cambridge facility, with some remote working options available.
