A well-established and highly successful R&D electronics company are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
In this role, you’ll be developing embedded firmware that runs on a SHARC DSP processor, forming the core of their advanced electronic products. You’ll be working closely with the new product development team, contributing to the design and delivery of the next generation of innovative systems.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in embedded software, electronics, and DSP techniques, who enjoys solving complex engineering problems and working as part of a collaborative technical team.
Key skills / experience needed:

Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline

Strong C programming skills

Solid experience with real-time embedded systems

Good understanding of DSP techniques such as filter design, sample rate conversion, FFT, and dynamic range control

Experience working in an R&D environment is desirable
