A leading research and development company that design and manufacture complex electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems are seeking a new Engineering Director – R&D to join their team in Edinburgh.
As the Engineering Director you will provide the vision, technical leadership / management of a multi-discipline engineering team (hardware, software, mechanical).
This organisation design and develop very innovative and market-leading products. They are well-established with over 40 years in the industry and over 200 employees. Job requirements:
- A technical / engineering background in hardware, software or mechanical engineering
- Experience in engineering, operational or the project management of R&D teams, ideally to an executive level.
- Full product life-cycle experience, from initial concept through to prototype and manufacture.
- Previous experience in highly-regulated technology would be beneficial (aerospace, defence, medical, aviation, etc.)
