Published Description:
Our growing, international publicly traded client is looking for a Power Supply Designer based in Ontario, Canada with demonstrated experience specifying, designing, and implementing SMPS .
This position requires someone with solid experience in delivering solutions and testing.
You will work closely with other members of the product team.
Responsibilities :
• To be a strong team-player while being a subject matter expert
• Solve complex problems through analysis, troubleshooting and implementation
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• To multitask with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate strong documentation skills.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as Senior Power Supply Design or design experience in any of the following areas: power converters/ conversion/management, switching / switch mode power supply units (psu), inverters, power electronics design equipment, analog electronics design, control loop design and power magnetics design (transformer, chokes or inductors).
• Knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) design, EMI, EMC and safety regulatory compliance, and power conversion topologies (buck, boost, bridge, flyback, resonant or forward converters) and simulation (such as Mathcad, PSpice, Simplis, or Saber) is considered an asset.

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic or electronics engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required
