Published Description:
Where did electrical and electronic engineering really begin? With the harnessing of Electricity.
Probably the greatest discovery came from Michael Faraday. In 1831 he discovered that a change in magnetic flux induces an electromotive force in a loop of wire—a principle known as electromagnetic induction.
Since then the field of electrical engineering and electronics has branched off into multiple interesting and complex areas. But the principal is the same. Without power, we have nothing.
It’s still one of the most fascinating and difficult to control areas in Engineering but some massive advancements are being made and that’s where you come in.
If you are reading this then I’d imagine you already know how to design a AC-DC or DC-DC switch-mode power supply and you know that making these products efficient and safe is as important as ever. The client I’m representing are pushing the boundaries with what you can do with switch-mode power supplies. And their Power Electronics Engineers and Switch-mode power supply designers are regarded as some of the best in Europe.
If you do know how to design AC-DC or DC-DC switch-mode power supplies, have experience designing using various topologies such as flyback, push-pull, buck and boost and have a flair for analogue and digital electronics design then this job would be perfect for you.
