In this role, you’ll be at the heart of product delivery – connecting design, production, service and quality to ensure every product is built right, performs reliably, and continuously improves.
Responsibilities as a Product Engineer in Bedford.
- Manage and maintain Bills of Materials in our ERP system, ensuring structure, version control, and accuracy.
- Act as the first point of contact for shop-floor queries, component changes, and build anomalies.
- Work cross-functionally to drive updates to mechanical drawings, schematics, HMI logic, and documentation.
- Rapidly update manuals, work instructions, and service guides as designs evolve.
- Investigate production issues with design, sourcing, and quality teams.
- Capture feedback from production and service teams to feed continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements as a Product Engineer in Bedford.
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Engineering field
- 2+ years’ experience in a product engineering or production support role
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems & BOM management (Engineering/Production BOMs)
