A well-established research and development business are looking for an R&D Electronics Engineer to join their team in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
The R&D Electronics Engineer will be a key member of the R&D team, investigating new technologies and developing the next generation of products whilst also supporting and improving existing products.
Key responsibilities of the R&D Electronics Engineer job:
- Support the development of new product concepts and solutions
- Component research and ordering and building PCB’s at component level
- Product testing and specification and development of production test equipment
- Updating parts lists and raising Engineering Change Notes
- Arrange and support Field Trials
- Support and maintenance of current products
Key skills / requirements of the R&D Electronics Engineer job:
- Able to read schematics, diagnose failures to component level, repair and test
- Able to build, test and diagnose prototypes of new products
- Solder small size SMT components
This role would suit an R&D Electronics Engineer that enjoys being a solid support engineer for the design team around them.
