Pricing

Our standard search is a traditional Fee % offering. This is where Octagon Group agrees a percentage of the first year’s gross remuneration offered by the ‘Company’ to the ’Candidate. Our fee percentage will always be pre-agreed before conducting a vacancy assignment.


What we do

Following a vacancy qualification and an agreement on the Terms of Business, Octagon will begin a searching project with your assigned dedicated consultant from the appropriate division. Our consultant will:

  • Qualify the vacancy with the client.
  • Create a report of the key selling points about the vacancy and the organisation.
  • Create and publish adverts on major job boards.
  • Carefully select and shortlist engineers on the major job boards.
  • Create a LinkedIn project to search for ‘non-active’ candidates who meet the job brief.
  • Qualify and internally interview the prospective candidates.
  • Submit the most appropriate options.
  • Utilise our Re-Sourcing team to search additional job boards and alternative social sources.
  • Manage the interview processes from first interview to offer, to acceptance, to the official start date.

*The resources we can put into a recruitment assignment will be dependent on the fee agreed, urgency, communication, and complexity of the vacancy.

Retained Assignment

Octagon Group has a retained model that is customisable, cost effective, and more efficient than the traditional search model.

Pricing

Our search process consists of multiple stages with a fixed price agreement in place to cover
the work requirement. An example of this would be.

Example: A fixed fee of £12,000 + VAT for the assignment of successfully placing an Engineering Manager.
  • 1/3 of the fee to be invoiced upon agreement (£4,000)
  • 1/3 of the fee to be invoiced upon the distribution of a shortlist that the Client deems appropriate for interview.
  • Final 1/3 of the fee to be invoiced upon successful candidate placement (invoiced on the employment start date).

Not only do we stop what we’re doing. During the assignment, your dedicated consultant and their re-sourcing team works exclusively for you. Your dedication to us enables us to give you 100% of our attention.

Once we’re retained by you, we only work with you and therefore we do not market our shortlist of candidates to our other ‘non- retained’ clients. You will gain an exclusive list of options that the rest of our market will not get access to.

It’s incredibly cost and time effective! With your upfront costs, we put this into advertising campaigns, headhunting strategies and utilising internal and external re-sourcing teams, this means you’ll get quicker and more effective results.

If you wanted your house renovated you wouldn’t call 5 builders, leave them your keys and see who does the best job! You might ask them to quote and pitch what they would do with your more.
