Our client based in Bordon, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power electronics. They are a global leader in sustainable and efficient power conversion products, serving major OEMs across sectors such as server, storage, networking and e-mobility.
We are searching for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Bordon. You will play a key role in the design, development and support of innovative DC/DC and AC/DC converters.
Responsibilities as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer in Bordon.
- Lead the design, development, and testing of DC/DC and AC/DC converters, from concept to mass production.
- Carry out design analsis, simulation and verification testing (electrical, EMC, mechanical and environmental)
- Collaborate with production, test engineering and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability and compliance.
- Conduct safety assessments, prepare technical documentation and support field issue investigations.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, contributing to both new and development and sustaining engineering.
- Stay at the forefront of technology by reviewing technical literature, attending conferences and applying new insights to product design.
Requirements as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer in Bordon.
- A degree (or equivalent) in Electronics or a related discipline. HND candidates with strong experience will be considered.
- 5+ years’ experience in electronics design, ideally in power conversion or analogue electronics.
- Knowledge of modern power conversion design techniques up to -10kW.
- Proficiency with simulation, schematic entry, PCB design, and PLM systems.
