As a Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll lead the design, fabrication, development, and testing of data acquisition systems. You will work with a multi-disciplinary electronics team, in one of Baker Hughes most cutting-edge facilities.
As a Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Lead electronic and embedded systems designing and testing, data analysis, and performance optimization in the laboratory and field in close alignment with project leadership and other cross-discipline team members
- Developing and maintaining embedded systems and electronic design, prototyping, and testing protocols, laboratories, and equipment
- Contributing to documentation and change management processes for power and electronic components and systems development
- Exemplifying compliance with all applicable health, safety, environment, and export control policies and regulations
- Developing and protect of high-value intellectual property via patent submission
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience working in an Electronics Design role covering both Analogue and Digital Electronics.
- Possess existing industrial experience in an Electronics Engineering position, as well as a relevant engineering degree.
- Have hands-on experience designing, prototyping and testing custom designed electronic boards for data acquisition, signal processing, and digital communication protocols
- Have some experience working with FPGAs; design, development or verification.
- Have experience using electronics design packages for schematic capture, PCB layout review, and circuit simulation
