As a Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll lead the design, fabrication, development, and testing of data acquisition systems. You will work with a multi-disciplinary electronics team, in one of Baker Hughes most cutting-edge facilities.

As a Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Lead electronic and embedded systems designing and testing, data analysis, and performance optimization in the laboratory and field in close alignment with project leadership and other cross-discipline team members
• Developing and maintaining embedded systems and electronic design, prototyping, and testing protocols, laboratories, and equipment
• Contributing to documentation and change management processes for power and electronic components and systems development
• Exemplifying compliance with all applicable health, safety, environment, and export control policies and regulations
• Developing and protect of high-value intellectual property via patent submission

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in an Electronics Design role covering both Analogue and Digital Electronics.
• Possess existing industrial experience in an Electronics Engineering position, as well as a relevant engineering degree.
• Have hands-on experience designing, prototyping and testing custom designed electronic boards for data acquisition, signal processing, and digital communication protocols
• Have some experience working with FPGAs; design, development or verification.
• Have experience using electronics design packages for schematic capture, PCB layout review, and circuit simulation
