Participate and lead design and development activities required within technical projects.  Producing technical quotations. Achieving, and exceeding engineering KPI targets.  Provide support to technical peers, and Sales staff. 

ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Technical Compliance of development projects, within project timescales. (on-time, to specification, to NRE budget)
• Achievement of all engineering KPI’s
• Contributing and participating in  relevant engineering improvement activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce Detailed Technical Quotations.
• Produce Detailed Technical Designs.
• Have an in depth technical knowledge for RF/Microwave passive filters including:
• Machined cavity combline/interdigital
• Waveguide, including band-pass, low-pass, notch and multiplexers
• Passive components such as transitions, couplers, combiners
• High power
• Ideal but not essential: Design for space including multipaction
• Contributing towards the technical solution on key technical projects.
• Supporting all BSC technical staff.
• Conducting Technical Reviews, both in a presenting, and reviewing capacity.
• Contributing to BSC technology roadmap, and assisting in its realisation.
• Contributing to BSC CI activities, and improvement projects.
• Liaising with Customers on-site, and at customer facilities where necessary.
• Liaising and assisting the Sales department where necessary.
• Liaising and assisting Production where necessary.
• Adhere, and contribute to BSC Operating and Quality Procedures
• Adhere, and contribute  to BSC Health & Safety and Environmental policies
