New Materials Planner job available in Tring, Hertfordshire

• Materials Coordination and planning for electronic equipment, components and assemblies. 

We are currently looking for a Material Planner to join a leading engineering / manufacturing team in Tring, Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for the efficient flow of materials required for the manufacturing of the electrical and electronic systems, working closely with material planning and supply chain teams. You will coordinate with Procurement, Stores and Quality departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production assembly lines. As well as anticipating logistical issues related to the operational area, environment and human factors.

To be considered you just need to have experience in procurement, business administration or scheduling in a company producing highly technical manufactured products. You will also need to be a relatively good user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have used an MRP / ERP system.
