A well-established company which designs and manufacturers complex testing equipment for various industries are looking to add a Software & Support engineer – C++ to their talented software team in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
As a Software & Support Engineer – C++, you will provide customer facing support across a range of company applications before transitioning into a C++ focussed Software Engineer role. You will have exposure to all elements of the SDLC, working alongside a team of talented engineers in a varied, multidisciplinary environment.
Required Skillset for the Software & Support Engineer C++ role:
- A minimum of a 2:1 in Computer Science or a relevant degree discipline
- Thorough understanding of Windows systems and SQL databses
- Academic or professional C++ development experience
- A customer centric approach and the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders
- An understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
