The Program Manager – R&D Engineering job we have available is with a rapidly growing technology company that develop safety critical systems for global medical device and complex equipment companies.
They are one of the small handful of companies who have actually seen an increase in orders due to the COVID pandemic, so they are continuing to expand so they keep up with the demand for their products.
They were already growing. They have seen a +20% increase in revenue and headcount every year for the past 5 years which meant that last year their turnover was just shy of $500 million. With the dramatic increase in orders this year, this is likely to be much higher come 2021.
The ideal Program Manager – R&D Engineering will support the companies engineering goals and objectives. You will manage and support complex technical projects and improve the operational efficiency and over all consistency.
Skills and experience needed for the Program Manager – R&D Engineering include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in a related discipline (e.g. EE, ME, etc.) required.
- Must have experience working in R&D with new product development
- 5+ years of engineering and/or Program Manager experience
- Ability to contribute and work in a team structure to develop programs collaboratively
- Experience working in a dynamic engineering environment and real-time crisis management skills.
- Strong desire to own/drive project development using well-defined metrics.
