Graduate Mechanical CAD Engineer – SolidWorks job available in Bedford, Bedfordshire. 
A fantastic opportunity has come available for a junior / graduate level engineer who has obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering to join a fantastic research and development organisation in Bedford, Bedfordshire. 
This job will offer you the opportunity to generate 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks and assist with sheet metal fabrication in a team of mechanical engineers. You will gain on the job training and the opportunity to develop electro-mechanical products which are used in automotive and avionic technology.  

What is required from you: 

• To have recently obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree (ideally with a 2:1 or above). 
• Experience in using SolidWorks for 2D and 3D CAD design.
• To have an understanding of mechanical testing / analysis (FEA / Thermal analysis). 
• To have an understanding of sheet metal fabrication. 
•  A CAD design portfolio would be beneficial for the application process.
