Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Electronics role available in Livingston near Edinburgh in Scotland!
- Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum + 5% Pension, 30 days annual leave, on-site gym, flexible working hours
- Location: Livingston (West Lothian) – just outside of Edinburgh
- Hybrid working (2 – 3 days from home per week)
- Full-time, permanent

The Job
The Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Electronics will be working will on full product lifecycle, from concept all the way through to manufacture. That will include design creation, design analysis and design verification.
Skills required for Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Livingston, Scotland:
- Experience using Solidworks or other CAD package
- Experience designing enclosures for electronics using plastic parts or/and sheet metal materials.
- Previous experience working in medical, aerospace, robotic or any highly regulated environment would be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills for client management (taking specifications / project management).
