Senior Java Developer opportunity within an international biotechnology company in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
A company at the forefront of medical and scientific technology in gene and cell analysis are looking to add a Senior Java Developer to their talented R&D team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
As a Senior Java Developer you will have the opportunity to work on one of the company’s core applications, gaining expertise on its overall architecture and individual features. You will be responsible for debugging and maintaining the existing application, developing new features, integrating third party software and managing the overall system architecture.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to work on a product which helps to promote breakthroughs within medical technology and improve the lives of millions of people across the world.
Required Skillset for the Senior Java Developer role:
- Significant Java development and debugging skills
- Exposure to C++ and JavaScript technologies
- Strong database development skills in SQL Server/Postgres SQL
- An appreciation of overall system architecture
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS / Azure? GCP advantageous
- C# and .NET stack experience advantageous
- DevOps/ CI/CD pipeline & Git source control advantageous
