Published Description:
The role comprises content creation and project completion of potential electronics, software, and API customer technical documentation. This position is available for remote working, with any face-to-face requirements based in Cambridge.

Key Tasks / Accountabilities
Be responsible for completing a number of projects for customer-facing technical documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Document and describe complex hardware and software to a technical audience
- Be responsible for creating new Integration Manuals and Software User Guides, with contributions from Subject Matter Experts in the company
- Manage the process of content creation throughout the entire Document Life Cycle
- Manage the Documentation creation function within GIS
- Work with appropriate teams and lead the fortnightly documentation triage meetings
- Manage the publication of documentation to both the internal GIS systems and customer facing 3rd party programs
- Support cover of Marketing activities
Experience / |Knowledge
- Have demonstrable experience of producing high quality customer-facing documentation
- Knowledge of the Document Development Life Cycle
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with initiative and good organisational skills
- The ability to learn complex software quickly
- Knowledge of HTML / CSS
- Experience using Madcap Flare desirable
- Educated to degree level or with appropriate experience

- Ability to follow existing style guides
- Tools and languages used include Madcap Flare, Swagger, JSON, GitHub, Jira, Salesforce
- Experience of Salesforce communities
- Software or electronics industry knowledge an advantage
- Experience in aspects of Marketing
