A successfully growing technology company based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire is now looking for an ambitious Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join there growing team.
Our Client is a leading developer and manufacturer of thermal imaging and measuring equipment used in commercial systems, industrial, security and surveillance applications. Due to expansion, they are now seeking Junior Mechanical Design Engineer that will provide mechanical support in all mechanical areas from new product design and development, supporting manufacture and acting as an internal coordinate on all mechanical issues.
The role would suit an ambitious candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a minimum of two years commercial experience.
Skills required for Junior Mechanical Design Engineer in Cambridge:, Cambridgeshire:
- Minimum 2 years commercial experience in Mechanical Design roles
- SolidWorks or use of a similar 3D CAD tool.
- Sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- General interest in mechanical design and development processes
- Self-motivated, good communication and problem solving skills
- Inquisitive and enthusiastic approach
