We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a technology business based in Guildford, Surrey! They are growing their team and this addition will be joining a highly skilled development department within a specialised consultancy.
As the Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery on various projects mostly used by the UK Government. You will work on embedded software development from initial concept, across the full development lifecycle.
Key requirements for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer job:
- Qualified to PhD or MSc level in an Engineering degree from a Red Brick/Russell Group University.
- Have achieved an A*/A in Maths or Physics A Level
- Embedded software development experience, using C programming
- Working at bare metal level as well as some experience in Linux
- Kernel device driver experience
