A leading broadcast organisation based in Dartford, Kent are looking to add a Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join their R&D team.
This company develop state-of-the-art audio / video processing, and interfacing systems which are used for broadcasting purposes within various industries. They have over 35 years experience and have sites all over the globe. With more projects coming in and a determination to further develop their tech they are seeking multiple bright & enthusiastic engineers to join their team.
As a Senior FPGA Design Engineer you will be responsible for working on the full product lifecycle of FPGA design, from concept through to manufacture. This will involve working on the system level design, and board level architecture.
Key responsibilities of the Senior FPGA Design Engineer job:
- Work closely with senior technical staff and management to develop digital products
- Gain detailed knowledge and understanding of existing designs to support existing products
- Produce clear and concise design documentation of hardware designs
- Able to work to a project plan, tracking progress, identifying risks, anticipating delays and communicating such to the project leader
Key skills / experience required for the Senior FPGA Design Engineer job:
- Extensive experience with FPGA technology and design
- Embedded design experience including a working knowledge of low level hardware and systems.
- Familiarity with CAE tools
