TITLE: Assembly Technician

RESPONSIBLE TO: Tubes Manufacturing Supervisor

SCOPE: Manufacture and Assemble parts of TWT (Travelling Wave Tube) and subassemblies as per required processes and schedule.

MAIN DUTIES

e Assembly and manufacture of high precision small Travelling Wave Tubes.

e Working in a cleanroom environment.

e Precision welding using a laser welder.

e Fine mechanical assembly of specialist parts using braze alloys.

e Leak checking and other ancillary tasks.

e Working with small components sometimes under Magnification

e Understanding of mechanical measurements, able to use measuring equipment.

e Required to record operations and carry out measurement tasks as part of assembly methods and procedures.

e Perform duties with respect to all Company Procedures.

e To undertake any other task, which may be reasonably requested.

RESPONSIBILITIES

e Ensure working areas, plant, tools and equipment are kept clean and tidy.

e nsure measuring equipment is calibrated.

e Tocomply with the Company Policy on Health & Safety.
