BUYER JOB AVAILABLE IN NEWTOWN (18 month FTC)

This company develop state-of-the-art equipment and their complex products are sold all over the world. They have over 45 years experience and have sites all over the globe. Their product lines are growing year on year and they are investing a lot of money into new product development.

As a Buyer you will be responsible for acquisition of raw materials in adherence to MRP/TQ/Safety Stock strategy through the management of both suppliers and inventory. Proactive review of parts managed to ensure continuity of supply to production Setting up and managing electronic replenishment/consignment stock, by reviewing inventory levels, target quantities, lead times, aligning MOQ/MSQs with production demand. Review supplier’s performance and take actions with poor performing suppliers using Root Cause and Corrective Action techniques.

To apply for the Buyer position based in Newtown you must have:

• Business related HND or above qualification. CIPS advantageous.
• 3 years’ experience of purchasing materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Management of electronic /mechanical parts advantageous.
• Inventory Management both supplier and internally.
