A market leading engineering organisation are looking to add an experienced C# Software Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Livingston, Scotland. This well-established business is commutable from parts of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and other areas in the Lothian area(s).
My client is involved in the design and development of state-of-the-art instrumentation and their complex products are sold all over the world. They are one of the market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced C# Software Engineer to join their busy engineering division.
As a C# Software Engineer, you will be responsible for working on the full product life cycle for applications and back end software, from concept through to manufacture. In this role you will continuously play an integral role in the development of high-performance applications for life scientific, medical and nanotechnology!
Skills / Experience we’re looking for from a C# Software Engineer:
- To have obtained a relevant Computer Science or Software Engineering focused degree or similar.
- Proven experience of commercial / industrial software product development to high quality standards.
- Proven experience as a C# Developer in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language and the .NET framework.
- Experience of application development using ASP.NET, MVC or related frameworks.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server or Oracle.
