Requirements
The Role
Isotropic Systems is seeking a highly experienced Lead Certification and Regulation Engineer to work as part of a close-knit team taking this innovative product through the necessary certifications to operate on all defined platforms, networks, and deployment regions, against an aggressive timeline
Education:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Satellite Communications Engineering or Communications Systems Engineering
Experience & Skills:
- Practical Understanding of Satellite Terminal qualification processes and regulatory requirements and what practical steps are needed to verify and prove compliance to

- Production of Detailed Test Plans, Integration Plans, Verification Matrix Body of Evidence, Requirements Tracking

- Appreciation of system design & integration challenges – Desirable
- Knowledge commercial satellite network companies, planning and qualification procedures especially at X band or Ka band – Desirable
- Providing engineering consultancy to private or public bodies – Desirable
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and aid in the hands on testing, test preparation, lab setups, programming for automation (eg in Python) and associated activities. – Desirable

Our Offices and Covid Secure Working
We operate out of the UK and USA, with our Head Quarters in Reading. As a pre-revenue start-up, there is lots of fast-moving change and development, so our UK team are based in modern offices in Reading, Berkshire (COVID-19 permitting!). This means that everyone can be involved and play their part in key stages of the work we are developing.
