What you will do
In this role you will drive growth and profitability through the fire & security business. The successful candidate will have a fire and security systems design knowledge and experience to enable effective review of solutions, positively challenge opportunities to ensure they are qualified bids and review the opportunity documentation such as performance specifications, schematics, drawings and hold kick off meetings with the sales and operations team.
The role will be hybrid based at home and the regional office with the expectation to work closely with the regional sales teams to build a winning culture – the successful candidate will bring a ‘work winning’ mind-set into all conversations.

How you will do it
The proposal manager will be the lead contact to defined field sales teams, and therefore the relationship with the sales management community is vital to success and achievement of objectives. The proposals and sales management team will work together, within a defined rhythm/process to drive incremental gains in performance and productivity as a collective. The
proposals manager will work with the sales managers and sales community to prioritise target opportunities, and plan/schedule work to meet business objectives.
What we look for
Required
- Proven experience in designing solutions for fire detection, and/or security systems
- Fire and/or security technical standards (system design codes along with industry relevant standards)
- Electrical wiring standards/requirements
- Producing proposal documents, specifications, Customer presentations and supporting material
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations/requirements, construction industry processes
- and contract documentation
- PC literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Formal procurement and construction processes and systems
- CRM management and use
