Octagon Group are currently partnered with an award-winning creative software company in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire who are recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. Within this role you will work closely with the company’s software development teams, implementing new tools and processes to enhance the functionality and scale of company applications. You will also be heavily involved in the expansion of cloud systems, working in an AWS environment.
Requirements for the DevOps Engineer role:
- 3+ years of commercial DevOps, AWS administration or Software Engineering experience
- An appreciation of AWS infrastructure and strong knowledge of AWS-specific services
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge, (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK)
- Exposure to Git, IDE and other development tools
- Professional experience with containerisation and event-driven microservices
- CI/CD automation practices
- Exposure to multiple scripting langugaes, e.g. python/bash/Ruby
