EXCITING NEW EHS MANAGER ROLE BASED IN WORKSOP FOR A WORLD LEADING ORGANISATION!
A world leading organisation is looking for an EHS Manager to join their manufacturing site based in Worksop. This will be under the Industrial Control & Protection division site based in Worksop, who specialise in the manufacture of high-quality, cost-effective Cam Switches and Disconnectors for the global market with minimal environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities of The EHS Manager Role in Worksop:
- Ensure plant level EHS programs, policies, procedures, and systems are developed, implemented, and sustained to ensure compliance with local, national regulatory requirements.
- Develop/ maintain plant emergency response plans and ensures drills are performed to document plan effectiveness.
- Review plant environmental permits and ensures terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensures required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agency, eg. air discharge permits, storm water discharge permits.
- Support and/ or directs the plant’s ISO 14001 EMS
- Maintenance and development of the Quality Management System in line with the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Standard
Experience Required for The EHS Manager Role in Worksop:
- NEBOSH qualified!
- Extensive experience of related professional and Supervisory/ Managerial experience is a Must!
- Thorough knowledge of RCRA requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Hazard Materials Handling and Emergency Response requirements
- Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams
- Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes
