I’m delighted to be working with a leading technology / engineering business in the scientific and pharmaceutical industries. This organisation designs and manufacturers critical systems and with heavy investment into the R&D team are growing in 2024. We have an Electrical / Controls Engineer job opening in the R&D department. This role involves driving electrical design for products, panels and components from concept to production, ensuring CE, UKCA and UL compliance. We’re looking for someone with strong Electrical CAD skills, ideally with E-PLAN or similar.
Skills and Experience required for this Electrical / Controls Engineer job:
- Must have experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, involved in Electrical CAD design / drawings.
- E-PLAN CAD experience is beneficial but a similar relevant E-CAD tool would also be acceptable (AutoCAD electrical / SolidWorks Electrical).
- An understanding of compliance with CE, UKCA and UL regulations is essential.
- Exposure to controls systems.
- Ability to design for manufacture.
