A leading research & development organisation are seeking a Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team on their site in Livingston, West Lothian.
In this Electronics Design Engineer job you will be working closely with a multi-disciplined R&D team on the development of complex scientific electronic systems.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Electronics design for scientific instrumentation (schematics, PCB layout etc)
- Work closely with other design engineers and scientists
- Solve complex engineering problems with a view to providing innovative, cost-effective solutions
- Develop test procedures and fixtures
Skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- A background working on electronic development through the full product life cycle within an R&D environment
- Experience of schematic capture, mixed-signal design and PCB layout for complex electronic products and systems
- Ability to design analogue electronics and knowledge of RF design would be beneficial
