We are looking for a talented Embedded C Specialist to join our dynamic and bustling engineering department.
Job Summary: The Embedded C Specialist will play a vital role in our design department, ensuring that all code is compliant, up-to-date, and fully tested. They will work closely with our design team, expanding and improving pre-existing code, as well as integrating and developing new code modules. The ideal candidate will also have some experience in software development, either directly themselves or working with partners to integrate front end and back end.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the design team to develop, test and manage new and existing modules and libraries. • Ensure the code is compliant and up-to-date with current industry standards, for example MISRA. • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bugs in a practical and customer focused way. • Integrate and develop new code from the design team. • Assist with the overall software development, either personally or by working with partners. • Communicate effectively and honestly with other team members, especially when issues arise. • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Proficiency in Embedded C programming. • Previous experience working with dspic microcontrollers is required. • Experience with software development is preferred. • Familiarity with brushless DC and stepper motor control is a plus, but not required. • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment and manage pressure well. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work to deadlines.
