Brand new role available for an Engineering Lead to manage and deliver engineering programs on time and within budget.

In this role, you’ll lead Program Management and R&D Engineering teams, oversee financial management, and ensure smooth site operations.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a leading technology company specialising in high-precision products critical to sectors like aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and medical technology.

Based near Chester, some UK travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities for the Engineering Lead:

– Manage site operations and oversee programme budgets

– Lead R&D projects from concept to production readiness

– Optimise resources to meet project deadlines

– Support Sales with technical solutions

– Oversee and develop Program Management

Skills and Qualifications of the Engineering Lead:

– Degree in a relevant technical, science, engineering, or business discipline

– Experience in a R&D environment

– Proven success in managing complex, multi-year programs

– Experienced in leadership and people management 

– Strong communication and presentation skills
