Senior Electrical / Firmware Engineer
Vancouver (Burnaby), Canada
$120k – $150k Basic + Relocation Assistance + Sponsorship/Visa + Bonus and Benefits
This Senior Electrical / Firmware Engineer position in Ontario – Canada will be responsible for developing processes and the controls for firmware and software for power management systems at their Vancouver (Burnaby) facility.
In this role, you will have a significant opportunity to be a part of a talented cross-functional team tasked with the responsibility of designing and developing reliable and cost-effective complex power systems.
This position will give you the platform to act as a key senior contributor to the entire development and creative process thereby allowing you to leave your stamp on various exciting projects in play.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Senior Electrical / Firmware Engineer:
- Design, write, and test firmware codes and write technical documents and diagrams required by the product/software development processes and standards.
- Prepares technical documents and diagrams required by the product/software development processes and standards
- Develop the products using world-leading design practices and standards, including modelling and simulation, tolerance analysis, design for reliability, design for manufacturing and assembly, and design for serviceability
Qualifications for the Senior Electrical / Firmware Engineer:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and at least a few years of experience
- Solid engineering experience with power electronics design and product development with embedded microcontrollers
