NEW JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER (ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING) JOB AVAILABLE IN READING.
A globally established R&D / Engineering organisation based in Reading are seeking a Project Manager with good electronics experience and knowledge to join their growing team. They are seeking a talented Project Manager to assist with business-critical work coming into the business.
As a Project Manager (Electronics Engineering) you will be responsible for successfully leading and managing complex projects / programmes from initial concept, through to planning, execution, manufacture and launch.
Experience needed as a Junior Project Manager (Electronics Engineering):
- Experience in Project or Programme Management for an engineering or manufacturing organisation.
- Successful experience in taking projects from specification to completion.
- Power Electronics, Aerospace, Defence, Military, Aviation, or similar industry experience.
- Some electronics knowledge would be good, power knowledge would be excellent.
- Working knowledge of S/4 HANA (ERP)/SAP and Smartsheet (Project Management) preferable, although knowledge of similar systems also considered.
- Experience of transferring products to Asian factories is desired
Key Qualifications and Skills needed for a Junior Project Manager (Electronics Engineering):
- Educated to degree level – preferably in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Must be able to work proactively, independently, and confidently in a dynamic engineering environment
- Must have great communication, organisational and leadership skills with the ability to inspire team members
- Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles, remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
