NEW MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER ROLE FOR A LEADING ORGANISATION IN EAST HAMPSHIRE

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client based in East Hampshire. As a leading provider of power conversion products, they are committed to developing and manufacturing sustainable and efficient solutions for the Server, Storage, Networking (SSN) and E-Mobility markets. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will help them achieve production and manufacturing goals by developing and optimizing their manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Process Engineer based in East Hampshire:

  • Collecting and analyzing production data using scientific and statistical methods to identify and resolve process bottlenecks.
  • Recommending improvements to equipment, work methods, and other aspects of the process to increase efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Developing and testing manufacturing processes to meet product requirements and quality standards.
  • Conducting research to increase the company’s operational knowledge and determine the most efficient practices for design operations, materials, assembly methods, and product fabrication methods.
  • Assisting engineering and business operations departments with determining costs associated with current and potential manufacturing processes.
  • Maintaining an organized record of all past, present, and future manufacturing processes for reference purposes.
  • Working with managers to develop technician training plans for current and future manufacturing processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a directly related field with 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing process development experience within electronics.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing guidelines and laws at the national and state levels.
  • Highly proficient communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning and analytical skills.
