A market leading research & development organisation based in Uxbridge, Greater London are seeking a bright, enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their continuously growing R&D team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will get the opportunity to create complex electro-mechanical products from cradle to grave and get the opportunity to work on new product development as well as existing products.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with software and the electronics engineers to design some very complex products and have a real input in to future products in the business. You will be provided with extensive product training and you will be provided the opportunity to progress within the business.
Skills & Experience required for the Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Degree in Mechanical or Product design Engineering
- Ideally experience in sheet metal or machined plates design
- Experience in Solidworks (other CAD packages will be considered)
- An good understanding of electronic components would be good also
