NEW MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER JOB BASED IN CANTERBURY, KENT.
A leading manufacturer of a range of interconnect applications for the military and aerospace industries, they are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D team based in Canterbury, Kent.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing new products and concepts inline with project NPI plans.
Duties as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Canterbury, Kent.
- Prepare manufacturing and process instructions for new products
- Support the design and development of test rigs
- Resolve early phase manufacturing issues
- Prepare drawings using CAD
Requirements as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Canterbury, Kent.
- Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
- Industry experience in Design Engineering
- Experience of design for manufacture and design for assembly
- CREO or similar 3D CAD experience
Not essential, but Automotive / Aerospace / Defence industry experience will be highly sought after.
