EXCITING NEW PROCUREMENT MANAGER ROLE BASED IN SOUTH MOLTON, DEVON FOR A WORLD LEADING ORGANISATION!
A world leading organisation is looking for a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the supplier demand planning and delivery of all direct materials and services at their South Molton, Devon Aerospace Manufacturing Plant.
Key Responsibilities of The Procurement Manager Role in South Molton:
- Responsible for supplier delivery on time, inventory levels through the supply chain while supporting quality and cost
- Establish Supplier capacity planning model including constraint management in collaboration with the SIOP team
- Responsible for cost out and delivery project initiation and timelines
- Responsible for the Management of ECN and MPS changes which affect the direct material in the supply chain, while working closely with Commodity Managers, Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality and Supplier Development teams
- Implement and execute projects related to the commodity strategy to support divisional cost, quality, delivery, supplier reduction, and sourcing goals
- Work closely with Supplier Quality and Supplier Delivery team
Experience Required for The Procurement Manager Role in South Molton:
- Previous experience in a procurement role ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in managing a team, further training will be provided
- Demonstrated project leadership success and Solid negotiation skills
- Full knowledge and understanding of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic (for example MFGPro)
- Thorough understanding of SCM operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control
