LOCATION: Hingham, Norfolk (NR9) – Office based role
SALARY: Competitive
HOURS: Full time/perm – 38 hrs-Standard shift: Monday-Thursday 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 2:30pm (finish early). Banked hours for additional hours worked during busy times.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Production Technician you will be involved in assisting all production areas, working to strict guidelines, and ensuring production deadlines are met efficiently by ensuring high levels of quality and traceability.
IN YOUR ROLE AS OUR PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE STRICT ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ALONG WITH GOOD ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS AND THE ABILITY TO BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLY WITHIN A FAST PACED AND DEMANDING MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT AS WELL AS:
Produce complex electro-mechanical products from sub-assemblies through to final product assembly in line with appropriate quality standards and right first time.
Work in clean-room environments, using complex machinery/equipment in the production of carbon fibre products.
Work to strict sequenced assembly processes using high specification, electronically controlled assembly tooling.
ABOUT YOU
To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within a production/manufacturing capacity, a passion for innovation, problem solving abilities and drive for operational excellence along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
Previous assembly experience (product specific training will be given)
Previous experience in the assembly of complex electro-mechanical components
Ability to comprehend and apply complex written PC based assembly processes
Knowledge of the mechanical assembly process when using metallic, plastic and composite structures
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
