New Purchasing Team Leader job available near Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Purchasing Team Leader to join a very well-established technology business near Hatfield, Hertfordshire. They are looking for someone to join their busy purchasing department to lead a small team.
Key responsibilities of the Purchasing Team leader job:
· Lead and motivate all team members ensuring KPIs are met.
· Plan and lead process strategy.
· Manage and develop supplier relationships
· Purchasing commodities including electronic/mechanical components and assemblies.
Key skills required for the Purchasing Team Leader job:
- CIPS membership or equivalent or qualified by experience.
- In depth knowledge of MRP and Production Planning systems
· Strong experience working within a purchasing team.
· Proven experience working in a product manufacture.
