Description:
Duties of the role include:
· To schedule all audits and maintain records.
· To conduct internal audits as scheduled.
· To participate in FAIR’s as directed.
· Maintain PFE archiving & disposal.
· Arrange external Calibration (Cal) of equipment & repairs if required.
· Provide internal & external Cal list to test monthly.
· To maintain the Training database.
· To update procedures & forms where required.
· To maintain the DR & ECN database & distribute once fully signed off.
· To maintain the Audit Database and monitor audit closure, including the regular issue of overdue actions.
· To review incoming RER’s and identify DR’s for implementation and/or checking.
· Conduct a weekly patrol audit and issue results.
· Undertake small tool calibration in line with the short audit schedule.
· Manage the company COSHH process, including risk assessments, disposals and re-order levels.
· Take monthly H & S minutes and distribute to SMT & HR.
· To work with the Quality Assurance Manager on environmental initiatives.
· To participate in Business Improvement Activities and miscellaneous duties as requested.
· To maintain the RLN (reject loss note) database & hold weekly meetings.
· Assist with any Inspection duties where required.
· Carry out any other duties as required by the QA Manager
Education / Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a Quality Assurance environment or an Administration role previously.
· Be familiar with ISO9001, IPC-A-610 and military quality standards
· Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
· Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure.
· Must have good analytical skills
· Must have clear and concise written communications skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: £TBD
Hours of Work: 38 per week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm from Monday through Thursday and 8.30 am to 12.30 pm on Fridays.
Pension: Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme. Company’s contribution 5% of basic salary, employee contribution a minimum of 4% of basic salary
Holiday Entitlement: 18 days (4 weeks)
