Senior Electronics Design Engineer

With offices in the UK, USA, and Hong Kong, they are at the forefront of innovation in the electronic design industry.
My client who are based in Whiteparish, Sailsbury is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electronic products from concept to manufacturing and beyond.
Key tasks for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job will include:
- Research, develop, and design electronic products.
- Embedded firmware development.
- Schematic capture.
- Application and test software development.
- Ensure the production of reliable, high-quality products meeting specifications and industry standards (EMC, etc.).
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Requirements for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an electronics product design environment.
- Strong background in analogue, digital, and microcontroller design.
- Experience in developing embedded C/C++ firmware.
- Understanding of relevant approval processes such as CE and EMC.
- Expertise in low-power design.
- Familiarity with communication technologies: RS232, RS485, USB, I2C, SPI, NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
This is an office-based role which requires you to be in the office 5 days a week so you will need to live in commuting distance from the office in Whiteparish, Sailsbury or be willing to relocate to the area.
