Job Description:

Reporting to the Business and Technology Development Manager you will be part of the Advanced Packaging R&D team. As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will support design, development and manufacturing of the companies next generation electronic modules.

This position will allow you to become an integral part of a team of specialists in materials, mechanical, electronics and packaging engineers that strive to push the boundaries of conventional microelectronics packaging. We are looking for an individual with a passion for exploration and breaking down barriers. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Interpret customer requirements and translate into specifications

Design, validation and industrialisation of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)

 

Perform electrical simulations and modelling as required

Produce design validation regimes and production test plan to ensure performance criteria is achieved.

Project management of projects consisting of multi-disciplined teams

Ability to undertake technical reviews with engineering experts

Define new technology and innovations for future roadmap

Identify continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction in design and manufacturing

Support new product proposals and proposals to modify existing products.

Take on other engineering duties as required and assigned.

Support in-house training programmes as required.

Travel internationally on occasion as requested.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related discipline

3-4 yearsexperience working in a similar role

Experience of the following is desirable: Cadence/Altium, Embedded C, Solid-Works, Ansys, HFSS, Microwave Office

Experience in the following disciplines is desirable: RF, Photonics and Power

Interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach

Problem-solving and root cause identification skills

Able to work to deadlines with good quality
