A market leading organisation are looking to add an Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team in Edinburgh, Midlothian.
This company develops state-of-the-art avionics products and are sold all over the world. They are market leaders in their industry with a global network in over 42 countries. Due to their growth and high demand, the company has rebuilding plans so they are looking to expand their team to add an additional Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
As an Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for using embedded processors in developing certified products. Their embedded software is entirely in C/C++ and generally runs on ARM processors. You will be writing a lot of PC software tools as part of their validation and verification processes. You must be comfortable writing device drivers interacting directly with hardware, but will also be able to implement communication protocols and complex maths for navigation or DSP.
The Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer must have:
- Degree in computer Science or Electronics
- Experience in Embedded software programming
- Experience in C and C++
- Ideally experience in Visual Studio
