A market leading organisation are looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing R&D team based in Southampton, Hampshire.

This company are collaborating with government, defence and law enforcement customers around the world and due to growth, they are looking to add an additional Embedded Software Engineer to their team.

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for working on the full product life-cycle of software for embedded systems, from concept through to manufacture. In this role you will continuously play an integral role in the development of high-performance, real-time embedded product whilst working closely with other members of a multi-discolined team.

The Embedded Software Engineer must have:

• Experience of the full software development life cycle, using C or C++ particularly on bare metal embedded systems.
• Specific experience of ARM processors, especially STM32 series MCU’s. Texas Instruments MSP430 would be advantageous.
• Able to understand electronic circuits and device datasheets to develop low-level device driver software for embedded peripherals including I2C, SPI and UART communication busses.
• Must have or be suitable for UK MoD security clearance
