Your Role:
As the Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll lead their Vancouver-based Power Systems Engineering team. Your work will drive their mission to provide accessible power worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and optimize the team’s workload for development and sustaining engineering.
- Mentor and inspire your team to deliver top-notch solutions.
- Tackle technical challenges and champion solutions.
- Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Implement Standard Operating Practices for operational excellence.
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives to propel us forward.
Your Qualifications:
- Credible industry experience with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of AC and DC Power Systems design.
- Subcomponents and subsystems include but are not limited to mixed power modules (Rectifiers, DC/DC converters, Power Supplies)
- Experience with simulation and modelling techniques (like MBD – Model Based Design, Parametric design, HIL – Hardware in the Loop, MIL – Model in the loop, SIL – System in the Loop).
- Proficiency in CAD tools like Syteline, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and more.
