New Senior FPGA Engineer job available

• Remote working – 2 -3 days a month onsite in Hertfordshire / West London offices. 
• FPGA design, testing, verification. 
• SoC (RSOC / MPSOC) / DSP implementation, SDR

A unique Senior FPGA Engineer job opportunity has come available with a leading Space / Satellite Communications Engineering organisation, This job is focused on designing and developing incredibly complex System-on-Chip (SoC) FPGA solutions for wideband digitization.This role will involve a mix of skills including FPGA design, testing, verification, writing test benches, FPGA synthesis, and embedded programming. This role can be done mainly remotely with a view to coming into the office a few times a month as and when required. 

Skills / Experience required:

• High level FPGA design / development skills using SystemVerliog, Verilog or VHDL.
• Exposure to System on Chip, ideally with RFSOC or MPSOC experience. 
• Ability to write FPGA test benches ideally using Verilator, cocobt, a similar python framework and/or myHDL or Haskell. 
• Basic Embedded Linux programming experience (C / C++)
• Any of the additional experience will be beneficial but not essential: FPGA synthesis (VIvado, Quartus, Mentor), DSP algorithm implementation, RF digitization.
